Robert Gibson is a retired Professor of French from the University of Kent. He lives and writes in Sidmouth, Devon.
His previous books include: The Quest of Alain-Fournier, Modern French Poets on Poetry (1961), and The Land without a Name (1975). His most recent works, The End of Youth: The Life and Work of Alain-Fournier (2005) and Best of Enemies (2005), are both published by Impress Books.
